Barruera Fair

At the beginning of October, the Barruera Fair was held, which was a place for exchange, buying, selling, and interaction among the neighbors of the Vall de Boí and nearby municipalities, where not only animals were traded and dealt with, but also food and all kinds of work tools were bought. Currently, the Fair is held on the last Sunday of September and has both livestock and commercial parts with producers from both local areas and other regions showcasing their products. The Fair offers different activities throughout the day for both young and old. This year we are once again celebrating the Atura't, the second edition of the National Sheepdog Competition with Cows, where farmers and their dogs can demonstrate their handling skills with cows by overcoming various challenges.
