The Camí de la Santeta is a short and very accessible walk that starts from the surroundings of Taüll and climbs gently to the Mirador de la Santeta. It is an ideal route for all ages, combining traditional paths, open meadows and good views over the Vall de Boí. Perfect as a quiet excursion, especially early in the day or at sunset. The route begins at the top of the village of Taüll, from where several traditional signposted paths leave that connect the village with the surrounding meadows and hills. Once the Camí de la Santeta has been identified, the path progresses clearly and without getting lost, with a gentle and constant slope. During the first few minutes, the path runs through open areas of pasture, with dry stone walls and progressive views towards the village and the bottom of the valley. It is a comfortable section, suitable for walking calmly and enjoying the landscape without rushing. As you gain a little height, the surroundings become even more panoramic. The path always maintains a clear path until you reach the Mirador de la Santeta, located in a high and open point, ideal for stopping and contemplating the surroundings. Arrival at the viewpoint marks the end of the route. From here you can return along the same path, enjoying the views in the opposite direction towards Taüll. The Mirador de la Santeta offers a good perspective of the Vall de Boí, with wide views of the villages and mountains that close the valley. It is a quiet space, highly valued by residents and visitors as a place to rest and observe. Along the path, elements of the traditional rural landscape stand out, such as terraces, mountain meadows and old paths historically used for agricultural and livestock activities. In terms of flora and fauna, the route allows you to observe typical mid-mountain vegetation and birds typical of open spaces, especially on calm days.
